November gasoline RBX3 +0.19%  tacked on 4 cents, or 1.6%, to $2.70 a gallon, while November heating oil HOX3 +0.11%  added 2 cents, or 0.7%, to $3.04 a gallon. 

Natural gas for November delivery NGX13 +0.77%  ended at $3.77 per million British thermal units, down 2 cents, or 0.6%, retreating from a high above $3.85.
