Elsewhere in the metals complex, December palladium PAZ3 -0.40% gave up $1.70, or 0.2%, to $740.65 an ounce, while January platinum PLF4 -0.42% lost $5.40, or 0.4%, to $1,434.20 an ounce.High-grade copper for December HGZ3 -1.04% lost 2 cents, or 0.6%, to $3.22 a pound.
