Epic Research Singapore : Forex Market Update

Other foreign-exchange action on Thursday was more muted, characterized by slight dollar declines. The British pound GBPUSD -0.02%  rose to $1.6038 from $1.6011 on Wednesday. The pound shed 0.9% against the greenback in October.

The dollar USDJPY -0.45%  fell to ¥98.32 from ¥98.66, leaving it flat on the month. The Bank of Japan kept its policy stance and asset-buying program unchanged by a unanimous vote, as widely expected.
