Epic Research Singapore : Forex Market Update

The dollar rose against most of its major rival currencies on Thursday, as markets await testimony from the Federal Reserve’s chairman Janet Yellen on monetary policy later in the day.

The ICE dollar index DXY +0.15%  , a gauge of the greenback’s strength against six other currencies, rose to 80.51 from 80.461 late Wednesday. The WSJ Dollar index XX:BUXX +0.09%  , which tracks the U.S. unit against a broader basket of currencies, also moved up to 73.88 from 70.83 in the prior session.
