Epic Research Singapore : Forex Market Update

The dollar advanced against key rivals Friday and appeared poised for a small weekly gain, with investors slated to assess new U.S. housing data later in the day.

The ICE dollar index DXY +0.08%  , which tracks the U.S. unit against six other currencies, was at 80.330, higher than 80.280 late Thursday. The WSJ Dollar index XX:BUXX +0.08% , an alternate gauge of the greenback’s strength against a broader basket of rival currencies, rose to 73.71 from 73.62.
