Oil futures settled with a slight gain on Wednesday as a cut to a global growth forecast offset support from a bigger-than-expected decline in weekly U.S. crude supplies.
Crude oil for July delivery CLN4 +0.17% rose 5 cents to settle at $104.40 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
July Brent crude UK:LCON4 +0.33% , the European benchmark, rose 43 cents, or 0.4%, to end at $109.95 a barrel.
July gasoline RBN4 +0.21% tacked on nearly 3 cents, or 0.9%, to $3 a gallon, while July heating oil HON4 +0.03% settled at $2.90 a gallon, up 2 cents, or 0.7%.
