August gasoline RBQ4 -0.07%   fell less than half a cent to$3.02 a gallon, while August heating oil HOQ4 -0.12%  shed nearly 2 cents to $2.93 a gallon.

Natural-gas prices settled higher after the U.S. Energy Information Administration reported that supplies of natural gas rose 100 billion cubic feet for the week ended June 27.August natural gas NGQ14 -0.57%   rose 5 cents, or 1.1%, to $4.41 per million British thermal units.
