Gold futures gained slightly in electronic trade Friday, after losing ground in the previous session.
August gold futures GCQ4 +0.05% rose $1.90, or 0.1%, to $1,322.50 an ounce.
Gold on Thursday dropped $10.30, or 0.8%, seeing its first loss in five sessions as investors flocked on equities and the U.S. dollar after a stronger-than-expected June U.S. jobs report.
