Gasoline blendstock for September RBU4, +0.12% rose 3.5 cents, or 1.3%, to end at $2.7475 a gallon, while September heating oil HOU4, -0.13%  rose 1.2 cents, or 0.4%, at $2.8375 a gallon on Nymex.

Natural gas for September delivery NGU14, -0.51% however, added nearly 7 cents, or 1.7%, to settle at $3.8890 per million British thermal units.
