High-grade copper for December delivery HGZ4, +0.53%  fell nearly 3 cents, or 0.9%, to just under $3.13 a pound.

Palladium prices declined Wednesday following peace talks between Ukraine and Russia, the world’s largest producer of the rare metal.

Palladium for December PAZ4, +0.41%  settled down $7.30, or 0.8%, to $875.95 an ounce, while October platinum PLV4, +0.26%  edged up $3.60, or 0.3%, to settle at $1,412.50 an ounce.
