MARKET UPDATES :
- The Straits Times Index (STI) ended -8.20 points lower or -0.24% to 3361.75, taking the year-to-date perform- ance to -0.10%.
- The FTSE ST Mid Cap Index declined -0.39% while the FTSE ST Small Cap Index declined -0.62%. The top ac- tive stocks were DBS (+0.71%), SingTel (-0.96%), Noble (-3.89%), OCBC Bank (-0.29%) and Global Logistic (+0.40%).
- The outperforming sectors today were represented by the FTSE ST Utilities Index (+0.89%). The two biggest stocks of the FTSE ST Utilities Index are United Envirotech (unchanged) and Hyflux (-0.60%). The underper- forming sector was the FTSE ST Basic Materials Index, which declined -1.90% with Midas Holdings’ share price declining -3.39% and Geo Energy Resources ’ share price declining-1.04%.
- The three most active Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) by value today were the STI ETF (+0.30%), iShares USD Asia HY Bond ETF (+1.15%), IS MSCI India (+0.64%).
- The three most active Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) by value were CapitaMall Trust (-2.36%), Ascen- das REIT (-0.81%), CapitaCom Trust (+0.30%).
