TRADING TIPS :
GBP/USD hit 1.4667 during European
morning trade, the pair’s lowest since March 18; the pair
subsequently consolidated at 1.4670, shedding 0.29%.The pound fell to
three-week lows against the U.S. dollar on Friday, after downbeat
U.K. manufacturing and industrial production data and as demand for
the greenback remained broadly supported. Cable was likely to find
support at 1.4631, the low of March 18 and resistance at 1.4888,
Thursday’s high. In a report, the Office for National Statistics
said that U.K. manufacturing production rose 0.4% in February, in
line with expectations and after a downwardly revised 0.6% decline
the previous month.
