SINGAPORE share prices opened stronger on Wednesday, with the Straits Times Index (STI) up 15.26 points or 0.46 per cent to 3,313.35 as at 9.01 am, before the US Federal Open Market Committee's two-day policy meeting closes later today.Top gainers in early morning trade included Jardine Strategic Holdings, Jardine C&C and UOB.
A total of 123.5 million shares worth S$115.7 million had changed hands as at 9.01am. Gainers outnumbered losers 99 to 46.
