On Nymex, August gasoline RBQ5, +0.77% added 5 cents, or 2.5%, to $1.999 a gallon, while August heating oil HOQ5, +0.67% rose less than a half cent to $1.715 a gallon.August natural gas NGQ15, +0.15% ended at $2.685 per million British thermal units, down 3.1 cents, or 1.1%.
