In other metals trade, October platinum PLV5, -0.32% fell $10.10, or 1%, to $1,011.60 an ounce, while September palladium PAU5, -0.58% declined by $10.95, or 1.7%, to $631.95 an ounce.September copper HGU5, -0.02% ended nearly flat at $2.523 a pound.
