Talkmed, the medical oncology services provider, posted a 0.2% rise in 2Q earnings to $9.6 million from a year ago.
Revenue grew 1.7% to $16.07 million due to increase in revenue from patients requiring higher intensity care.
In June, the group acquired a 30% stake in an associate, Hong Kong Integrated Oncology Centre Holdings for an aggregate consideration of $11.5 million.
The group’s share of loss after tax of associate was $0.26 million.
In its outlook, Talkmed says its business is sustained to a large extent by the good economic performance of Singapore and countries in South East Asia.
“Continued economic stability of the region will enable the Group to maintain its level of profitability,” says the group.
Talkmed closed flat at $1.10 today.
