EMAS Offshore appoints Ezra’s COO as its new CEO
SINGAPORE (Sep 25): Offshore services provider EMAS Offshore has appointed Captain Adarash Kumar as its new chief executive officer, with effect from Sept 25.
Kumar has more than 25 years of experience in the marine industry. Previously the Chief Operating Officer of Ezra Holdings, the 55 year old had also worked at Bumi Armada Navigation and the Malaysian International Shipping Corporation.
He is also a qualified Master Mariner and holds a Certificate of Competency as Master of a Foreign Going Ship issued by the Malaysian Marine Department.
Kumar replaces outgoing CEO Jon Dunstan who resigned to pursue interests outside of the company. However, Dunstan will remain with the company until February 2016 to assist Kumar in his new appointment.
EMAS Offshore's shares closed at 24 cents on Sept 23.
