Back on Nymex, prices for October gasoline RBV5, -1.15% fell 10.4 cents, or 6.9%, to $1.396 a gallon and October heating oil HOV5, -1.03% ended at $1.578 a gallon, down 12.3 cents, or 7.3%. Both contracts saw hefty gains on Monday.October natural gas NGV15, -1.22% ended with a gain of 1.3 cents, or 0.5%, at $2.702 per million British thermal units.
