Engineering services provider IPCO International reported 3.5% increase in 1Q16 earnings ended July to $1.4 million.
The increase came on the back of a 41.3% increase in revenue to $13.5 million, lifted by higher sales from its subsidiaries.
ESA Electronics recorded a 76.7% increase in turnover to $7 million due to higher demand for burn-in boards by semiconductor manufacturers in the quarter.
Excellent Empire, which supplies natural gas to households, commercial and industrial users in cities in Hubei, China, achieved 21.2% increase in turnover to $6.5 million.
IPCO says the group’s primary subsidiaries have shown significant improvements in their operating performance, as well as their prospects for business development.
The counter closed 20% lower at 0.4 cents.
