The following stocks may be in focus today:
Global Yellow Pages has inked a deal to snap up a company that handles the retail master franchise and supply chain business for the Wendy's brand of ice-cream in Australia and New Zealand. The total purchase price for a 100% stake in Supatreats Asia has not been determined but could be up to around A$4.94 million ($4.97 million).
Real estate developer Yoma Strategic Holdings is deciding whether it wants to stay in a Myanmar joint venture (JV) given that its JV partner plans to leave. Jamaica-based Digicel Group, which owns 75% of the JV with Yoma, plans to sell off its entire stake for US$221 million ($317 million) to a unit of Malaysian telco Axiata Group, and is now evaluating its options.
Aztech Group has issued a profit warning, saying it will record a loss despite being "operationally profitable" in the third quarter ended Sept 30, 2015.
Sinocloud has cancelled its proposed acquisition of up to 45.95% of China Satellite Mobile Communications Group, saying that conditions could not be satisfied or waived by the long-stop date of Sept 30.
Frasers Property Australia, a member of Frasers Centrepoint (FCL), is launching a new retail business unit. The unit will leverage on FPA's local residential development base, and retail expertise of FCL. FPA plans to grow its retail portfolio from US$300 million ($269 million) to $1 billion in the next five years.
Indonesian real estate group Sinarmas Land has bought back another large chunk of its own shares on the open market. The mainboard-listed firm, controlled by the billionaire Widjaja family, purchased 141.07 million shares at between 56 cents and 57.5 cents each on Friday for $80.5 million.

US stocks dropped sharply on Friday after jobs data for September fell far short of expectations, raising doubts that the economy is robust enough to absorb an interest rate hike. The Dow Jones industrial average was down 204.57 points, or 1.26%, at 16,067.44, the S&P 500 was down 23.87 points, or 1.24%, at 1,899.95 and the Nasdaq composite was down 54.70 points, or 1.18%, at 4,572.39.
The Straits Times Index (STI) ended Friday 0.31% lower at 2,793.15, after trading between 2,765.44 and 2,797.31.
