NOL, KrisEnergy, Rex International, Noble Group, KOP, TEHO International, Roxy-Pacific Holdings, Citic Envirotech

The following stocks may be in focus today:

Neptune Orient Lines has entered into an exclusivity agreement with France's CMA CGM for a potential acquisition of NOL by way of a pre-conditional voluntary general offer.

Rex International's indirect wholly owned subsidiary, Rex Caribbean Holdings (RCH), has entered into an investment and shareholder's agreement with West Indian Energy Holding AS (WIEH) and GELCO Energy Inc (GELCO), to merge the aforementioned parties' respective assets in Trinidad into a new entity, Steeldrum Oil Company Inc.

Upstream oil and gas company KrisEnergy has received the Thai government’s approval for an area spanning 87.74 sq km containing the Rossukon oil discovery in the Gulf of Thailand.

Citic Envirotech Ltd (CEL) has secured a Public-Private Partnership project in Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province, China worth about RMB 549 million ($122 million).

Commodities trader Noble Group has “just enough” liquidity to cover its short-term commitments in the next 12 months and support its rating, Fitch says. The rating agency says it expects Noble to improve its core operations in the fourth quarter, but warns that “any deterioration of the company's liquidity profile--especially a further deterioration of committed undrawn facilities--is likely to result in negative ratings action”.

KOP Limited’s subsidiary, KOP Properties, has entered into a cooperative agreement with Shanghai LuJiaZui (Group) Co. and Shanghai Harbour City Development (Group) Co. for the development of Winterland Shanghai with an estimated total investment of RMB3 billion ($663.5 million) and a site area of 110,000 sqm located in Shanghai’s Lingang City.

TEHO International’s unit TEHO Ropes & Supplies (TRSPL) entered into an agreement to grant an option to Teco Electric & Machinery to purchase from TRSPL the property located at 47 Tuas Avenue 9 at a purchase consideration of $14.38 million.

Roxy-Pacific Holdings’ subsidiary, RH Eunos, has entered into an agreement to acquire a freehold residential site situated at No. 180A Jalan Eunos at the purchase price of $10.1 million.

KS Energy Group announced that a joint venture between PT Atlantic Oilfield services and PT Java Star Rig has won a contract for KS Java Star jack-up drilling rig worth US$2.8 million ($4 million).
