Other metals on Comex ended mixed. March silver SIH6, -1.56% fell 22.6 cents, or 1.6%, to $13.884 an ounce—down around 4.4% for the week. March copper HGH6, +1.98% tacked on 4.4 cents, or 2.1%, to $2.117 a pound, for a weekly gain of 1.8%.January platinum PLF6, -1.69% shed $12.20, or 1.4%, to $843.70 an ounce, for a weekly loss of roughly 4.2%, while March palladium PAH6, +0.03% added $2.55, or 0.5%, to $544.80 an ounce, down around 3.9% on the week.
