Back on Nymex, February gasoline RBG6, -2.72% settled down by 1.7 cents, or 1.7%, at $1.047 a gallon, while February heating oil HOG6, -0.67% tacked on 3.2 cents, or 3.5%, to 96.77 cents a gallon, after a 6% decline a day earlier.February natural gas NGG16, -0.32% added 2.2 cents, or 1%, to $2.18 per million British thermal units.
