Rounding out action in the energy market, February gasoline RBH6, +2.61% added 2.4 cents, or 2.2%, to $1.103 a gallon, with the contract up about 1.8% for the week, but down 13.2% for the month. February heating oil HOG6, +3.29% added 2.4 cents, or 2.4%, to $1.055 a gallon, for a weekly gain of 6%, but a monthly loss of 6.1%. The February oil-product contracts expired at the settlement.March natural gas NGH16, +5.64% rose 11.6 cents, or 5.3%, to $2.298 per million British thermal units, for a gain of 7.3% on the week and a loss of about 2.8% on the month. U.S. government data Thursday showed a bigger-than-expected weekly decline in natural-gas stockpiles.
