Gasoline Market Update : Epic Research Singapore

On Nymex, February reformulated gasoline RBG6, +1.53%  shed 1.6 cents, or 1.4%, to $1.146 a gallon and February heating oil HOG6, +1.02%  lost 1.5 cents, or 1.4%, to $1.066 a gallon.

Also on Nymex, prices for natural-gas rallied after the EIA reported a 113 billion cubic foot decline in U.S. supplies for the week of Jan. 1. Analysts polled by Platts expected a decline of between 93 billion cubic feet and 97 billion cubic feet. But the EIA said the data included a “reclassification” of certain types of natural gas.

February natural gas NGG16, +1.13%  ended at $2.382 per million British thermal units, up 11.5 cents, or 5.1%.
