Keppel reiterates stance against corruption after arrest of Eagle do Brasil worker

Keppel Corporation has reiterated its stance against bribery and corruption after the arrest of Zwi Skornicki in Brazil on Monday.

Skornicki is an employee of Eagle do Brasil, which is the agent of Keppel FELS in Brazil.

“Keppel reiterates its zero-tolerance stance against any form of illegal activity, including bribery and corruption, involving its employees or associates, and will take all necessary steps to eradicate such conduct if discovered,” says the oil and gas company on Tuesday.

On Feb 9, Pedro Jose Barusco, a former executive at oil giant Petrobras’ engineering and services division, alleged that illegal payments were made by Skornicki in connection with contracts entered between Keppel and Petrobras and Sete Brasil.
