SINGAPORE'S benchmark Straits Times Index opened on Tuesday at 2,684.80 points, up 23.75 points or 0.89 per cent from Monday's close, as Asian stocks continued their recovery from January's plunge.In Singapore, 93.5 million shares worth S$165.8 million changed hands by 9.02am. Gainers outnumbered losers 106 to 27.
Top stocks by value traded included DBS, NOL, Global Logistic Properties, Singtel and CapitaLand.
