Meanwhile, March silver SIH6, -0.03% settled at $15.79 an ounce, down less than half a cent for the session. For the week, it climbed nearly 6.9%.In other metals on Comex, high-grade copper HGH6, +1.35% for March delivery added 2.3 cents, or 1.1%, to $2.029 a pound, though still lost 3.5% on the week.
April platinum PLJ6, -0.59% fell $5.10, or 0.5%, to end at $958.10 an ounce, but gained 6% for the week, while March palladium PAH6, -0.18% climbed $2.55, or 0.5%, to $527 an ounce, tacking on 5.7% for the week.
