Stratech Group has unveiled three newly developed products for for border and maritime surveillance as well as specific airport safety needs.
These are the Super EOS, iFerret Hydra and iFerret Mobile.
Launched at the Singapore Airshow 2016 on Thursday, the Super EOS has up to 200x zoom capability and is able to provide visual verification and identification of foreign objects and debris (FODs) and targets. With these new enhanced features, the product can be deployed for border and maritime surveillance.
While Stratech’s iFerret detects, tracks and identifies FODs on runways under low visibility conditions, its new iFerret Hydra extends this capability to improve airport safety in extreme low visibility conditions created by weather conditions like fog, haze or smog.
The third new product iFerret Mobile is suitable for airports that already have fixed FOD detection systems but want to improve overall runway surveillance and safety. It is attached onto a vehicle which sweeps the ground for FOD detection and pavement condition monitoring.
Shares in Stratech ended at 2.9 cents on Wednesday.
