As for other metals, May copper HGK6, +0.61%  fell 1.2 cents, or 0.5%, to $2.221 a pound. April platinum PLJ6, +1.21%  added $7.90, or 0.8%, to $990.70 an ounce, while June palladium PAM6, -0.11%   rose $7.45, or 1.3%, to $573.60 an ounce.
