OCBC is maintaining its “buy” recommendation on Thai Beverage with a 83 cents fair price estimate after its results meet expectations.
In FY15, ThaiBev’s revenue rose 6.2% in to 172 billion Thai baht ($6.8 billion) as sales of beer, spirits and non-alcoholic beverages rose.
In a Tuesday report, lead analyst Jodie Foo says ThaiBev may narrow its losses on non-alcoholic beverages this year after it spent money to advertise newly-launched drinks in 2015.
The company may also face higher taxes this year, but it says its performance depends more on macroeconomic concerns.
Thaibev shares closed at 74 cents on Tuesday.
