This is 2 cents higher than the $1.39 offer price announced on Tuesday which included a 2 cents dividend. All shareholders who tendered will get a total of $1.41. Those who tendered after dividend books closed will get the dividend separately. OSIM last traded at $1.37.
Keith Tay Ah Kee, Singapore Post’s nominations committee chairman, has stepped down from that role with effect from Friday, the postal and e-commerce group said on Friday evening. He was replaced by nominations committee member Zulkifli bin Baharudin, it said, adding that Tay will remain in the nominations committee. SingPost closed at $1.585.
Triyards Holdings has clinched a new contract worth 44 million euros ($67.7 million) to build two new liquefied natural gas (LNG) aluminium catamarans. The vessels, featuring new single-fuel LNG propulsion systems that are more efficient than dual-fuel engines, will be built for Dutch ferry operator Rederij Doeksen (Royal Doeksen). Triyards last closed at 41 cents.
Olam International on Friday said it is investing US$150 million to set up "state-of-the-art" animal feed mills, poultry breeding farms and a hatchery to produce day-old chicks in Nigeria. OLAM last closed at $1.66.
