SINGAPORE stocks opened a marginal 0.1 per cent higher on Friday as traders held their breaths ahead of a slew of Chinese economic data.
The Straits Times Index gained 1.69 points to 2,915.62 as at 9.00am.
About 62.9 million shares worth S$51 million in total changed hands, which worked out to an average unit price of S$0.81.
The most actively traded counter was Ezra Holdings, which fell S$0.007 to S$0.099 with 10.3 million shares changing hands. Other actives included Annica and Halcyon Agri.
Gainers outnumbered losers 62 to 43.
