SINGAPORE shares opened higher on Tuesday, buoyed by a recovery on Wall Street on Monday, where the Dow Jones Industrial Average finished above 18,000 for the first time in nine months.
At 9.02am, the Straits Times Index was up 10.95 points or 0.38 per cent at 2,928.7.
Some 61.1 million shares worth S$57.9 million were traded. Gainers outpaced losers 98 to 34.
