Back on Nymex, June gasoline RBM6, +0.47% rose by 1.8 cents, or 1.1%, to $1.606 a gallon and June heating oil HOM6, +0.67% climbed 3.7 cents, or 2.6%, to $1.44 a gallon.
June natural gas NGM16, +0.34% ended at $2.029 per million British thermal units, down 6.7 cents, or 3.2%.
