June gasoline RBM6, +0.37% fell 3.2 cents, or 1.9%, to $1.617 a gallon Thursday, while June heating oil HOM6, +0.30% shed 2.2 cents, or 1.5%, to $1.461 a gallon.
Also on Nymex, prices for natural gas hovered around the flatline after the EIA reported Thursday that supplies of the commodity rose 73 billion cubic feet for the week ended May 13. That was a bit below the 79 billion-cubic-foot rise expected by analysts polled by S&P Global Platts.
June natural gas NGM16, -0.93% traded at $2.005 per million British thermal units, up less than half a cent.
