KrisEnergy sank to a net loss of US$18.3 million ($25 million) for the three months ended March 2016 from earnings of US$46.2 million a year ago.
The loss stemmed from higher non-cash depreciation, depletion and amortisation expenses for producing assets.
Revenue fell to US$33.1 million from US$11.4 million owing to higher crude oil sales and higher gas revenue.
The counter closed 1.2% higher at 17.3 cents on Thursday.
