Airport gateway services provider SATS says 4Q earnings slipped 1.7% to $50.7 million after revenue fell 1.8% to $417.6 million, dragged down by a 7.4% decrease in food solutions revenue, to s$232.3 million, as the business was transferred to joint venture company SATS BRF Food (SBRF) in June 2015. Shares of SATS ended at $4.45 on Friday.
CapitaLand Commercial Trust (CCT) has proposed to acquire the remainder 60% interest in Grade A office tower CapitaGreen for $393 million. CCT currently owns a 40% interest in units in MSO Trust, a special purpose sub-trust that holds CapitaGreen. CapitaLand owns 50% interest in MSO Trust, while Mitsubishi Estate Asia (MEA) owns the remaining 10%. CCT ended flat at $1.38 last Friday.
Boustead Projects, the specialist in real-estate solutions says FY16 earnings saw a 7% fall in FY16 earnings to $22.9 million from a year ago, due to challenging industrial real-estate business landscape, higher expenses, and greater share of loss of an associated company and joint ventures. Full-year revenue came in at $255.5 million, flat compared to a year ago. The counter last traded at 65 cents.
ARA Asset Management is now a substantial shareholder of Suntec Real Estate Investment Trust (Suntec REIT). The transformation comes after ARA accumulated an interest of 5.02% in Suntec REIT as at May 19. ARA Group CEO John Lim says the transformation "demonstrates our alignment of interest as well as our strong commitment towards managing and growing Suntec REIT". ARA closed at $1.34.
