July high-grade copper HGN6, +0.91% settled at $2.093 a pound, down 1.4 cents, or 0.7%. July platinum PLN6, +0.91% gained $2.50, or 0.2%, to $1,049.30 an ounce, while June palladium PAM6, +0.80% rose $8.10, or 1.4%, to $592.20 an ounce.
