Singapore Technologies Engineering's (ST Engineering's) earnings fell 15% to $110.2 million in the first quarter ended March 31, 2016, from $130 million a year ago.
The poorer bottom line was attributed to lower profits from the land systems and marine segments, says the engineering solutions provider.

ST Engineering's order book stood at $11.5 billion as at March 31, 2016, which it expects to deliver about $3 billion in the remaining months of 2016.
ST Engineering expects FY2016 revenue to be higher compared to last year, while profit before tax is exected to be comparable.
Shares of ST Engineering ended 1% lower at $3.13 on Thursday.
