Rounding out action in the major metals futures Monday, prices for July copper HGN6, +0.02% ended at $2.054 a pound, up 2.3 cents, or 1.1%. July platinum PLN6, -0.27% edged up by $1.10, or 0.1%, to $995.30 an ounce and September palladium PAU6, -0.80% shed a dime to $545.85 an ounce.
