Exchange-traded fund iShares Silver Trust SLV, -2.28% lost 0.3%.July copper HGN6, +0.83% edged down by 4.3 cents, or 2.1%, to $2.048 a pound, giving back much of the 2.5% gain from a day earlier. July platinum PLN6, +0.01% added $3.50, or 0.4%, to $978.30 an ounce and Sept. palladium PAU6, +0.70% gained $2.40, or 0.5%, to $534.95 an ounce.
