July copper HGN6, -0.31% ended at $2.116 a pound, up 2.3 cents, or 1.1%. Platinum for July PLN6, -0.02% finished at $981.50 an ounce, down $5.70, or 0.6%, while palladium for September PAU6, +0.18% rose $2.90, or 0.5%, to $551.35 an ounce.
