Elsewhere on Comex, high-grade copper for July delivery HGN6, +0.24%  slipped less than a penny to settle at $2.07 a pound, while July platinum PLN6, -0.03%   lost $11.80, or 1.2%, to settle at $960.10 an ounce. September palladium PAU6, +0.11%  dropped $12.30, or 2.3%, to settle at $534.45 an ounce.
