Mapletree Commercial Trust, SingPost, Fischer Tech, Oceanus Group, CNMC

Here are some stocks that could move the market this Tuesday morning.

Mapletree Commercial Trust is acquiring Mapletree Business City (Phase 1), one of the largest integrated office and business park complexes in Singapore, from sponsor Mapletree Investments. The total acquisition cost is expected to be $1.86 billion. The acquisition is expected to contribute a Net Property Income (NPI) yield of 5.6% without any income support, which is higher than the existing portfolio’s NPI yield of 5.1%. The acquisition is further expected to be DPU and NAV accretive. MCT units closed 1.34% higher at $1.51.

Singapore Post needs to make significant improvement in building a robust pipeline of future leaders. That was one of the findings made by the consultants of the Corporate Governance Review that was released on Monday. In response, SingPost says it will adopt all the recommendations of Review, except for the recommendation that deems all non-independent directors with more than nine years' tenure which is no longer valid. Singpost shares closed 2.34% higher at $1.53.

Fischer Tech has set up a wholly-owned subsidiary known as Fischer Advanced Technology (Suzhou) Co. Fischer Advanced Technology is incorporated in China with a registered capital of US$15 million ($20.2 million). The principal activities of Fischer Advanced Technology are to manufacture and sell precision plastic injection moulds. On Monday, shares of Fischer Tech closed at $1.54.

Oceanus Group was served a Writ of Summons by the High Court of the Republic of Singapore on June 30. The plaintiff is Ocean King Group. Ocean King is claiming, among other things, breach of an amended and restated loan agreement dated July 30, 2015 between itself and Oceanus Group. Ocean King is is seeking, among other things, the sum of $9.94 million. The stock last traded at 0.4 cents.

CNMC Goldmine Holdings on Monday announced its Sokor Gold Project has produced a record quarterly production of fine gold for the period ended 30 June 2016. CNMC says it produced in the quarter some 9,807.37 ounces of fine gold – gold bars that are refined to the purity of 99.99%. CNMC Goldmine closed 8.9% higher at 49 cents on Monday.
