FRASER and Neave on Wednesday said net profit from
continuing operations, before fair value adjustment, rose 3.3 per cent year on
year to $103.40 million from $100.15 million for the fiscal third quarter ended
June 30, 2013.
Turnover increased 3.8 per cent to $1 billion from $965.01 million, with its beverages segment recording higher revenue from both its soft drinks and breweries.
Earnings per share for the quarter were 7.2 cents compared to 9.6 cents a year ago.
Cumulative nine months profit from continuing operations crept up 0.3 per cent year on year to $257.59 million from $256.7 million, despite an 11.9 per cent rise in turnover to $2.83 billion.
