Epic Research Singapore : News Update

Japanese stocks rose early Wednesday on a weakened yen and a positive lead from Wall Street, with steel and automobile makers among the gainers. 
 
The Nikkei Stock Average JP:NIK +0.36% gained 0.7% to 13,960.54, adding to its 2.6% jump in the previous session, 
while the broader Topix JP:I0000 +0.35% advanced 0.9% to 1,167.09. Shares of JFE Holdings Inc. JP:5411 +3.20% JFEEF +7.76% rose 2.7% and Kobe Steel Ltd. JP:5406 +3.07% KBSTY +1.98% added 3.1%, while Mazda Motor Corp. JP:7261 +1.90% MZDAY +3.21% advanced 2.6%. Among real-estate plays, Tokyo Land Corp. JP:8815 +2.49% TOLAF +41.35% gained 2.7% and Mitsui Fudosan Co. JP:8801 +1.31% MTSFF -4.70% climbed 1.8%.
