Gold for December delivery GCZ3 -0.69% fell $7.90, or 0.6%,
to $1,378.70 an ounce following a minimal bump higher in the prior session. Gold
has pulled back from its three-and-a-half month high of $1,433.50 on Aug. 28,
when its safe-haven status drew buyers as the Syria conflict began to heat
up.
