S&P/ASX 200 was down 0.4% ahead of the poll. The local currency also gave up
some of its Wednesday gains that came after the economy grew in line with
expectations in the second quarter, with the Australian dollar last at 91.65
U.S. cents compared with 91.72 U.S. cents late Wednesday.
