Epic Research Singapore : S&P 500

S&P/ASX 200 AU:XJO -1.39%   fell 1%, more than shedding last week’s gains when the index hit levels not seen since before the global financial crisis.

Heavyweight mining stocks traded lower. BHP Billiton AU:BHP -1.32%   fell 1.1% and Rio Tinto AU:RIO -2.21%   shed 1.5%.
